Abigail Ajo

Was born and raised in “The Mission Valley of El Paso”, graduating from Riverside High School and then U.T.E.P earning and education degree with a focus on bilingual studies.  “I feel blessed and honored to have the opportunity to live and work in the community that has given so much to me.  Teaching at La Fe has given me the opportunity to attempt to give a small part of me back to this community”.

Ms. Ajo teaches the English tract of the dual language program to first graders.  It is her love to help others and El Paso’s rich culture that has brought her to La Fe.  El Paso’s challenges to inner city children and her devotion and caring demeanor make her a good fit for La Fe.

Ms. Ajo loves the joy of travel, visiting restaurants, reading, time with family, and taking care of her dogs, Frida, Bruno, and Chico.  Her future plans are to continue at La Fe and see it prosper into a non-traditional multi faceted institution that reaches many more than its students.
