Nadia Sung
Was born in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico, and was raised in Ciudad Juarez where she attended school from elementary to university level. She received a bachelor’s in Business Administration from ITCJ in 1996. After graduation, she taught English in CONALEP, a high school specializing in technical careers. In 1998 she moved to El Paso with her husband and started a family while pursing her real dream…to study at UTEP to become an educator. In 2006 she received her bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education, and is currently studying her master’s in dual language.
She is thankful to La Fe Corporation for the opportunity to bring her enthusiasm, love, and commitment to her students and parents, as well for providing the Segundo Barrio’s community with a school that offers different aspects of education that will bring a great opportunity for her students to succeed, including a dual language program in which she truly believes and supports.
Maestra Sung is currently a kindergarten teacher for the Spanish component, doing her best to help her students find, love, and work in their identity to feel proud of themselves in order to become great leaders. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, movies, and adores her alone time with a book in a coffee shop.
